Tavares, may be best known for such up-tempo hits as the million-selling single āHeaven Must Be Missing an Angel,ā āMore Than a Woman,ā It Only Takes a Minute,ā āCheck It Outā āRemember What I Told You to Forget,ā āToo Late,ā and āWhodunit. Tavares also had the first hit version (number one R&B) of āSheās Goneā written by the then relative unknown duo of Daryl Hall and John Oates, Hall & Oates.
France Joli is a Canadian singer, best known for the disco classics āCome to Meā and āGonna Get Over You.ā The track āCome to Meā began a three-week reign atop the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play on 22 September 1979 and the France Joli album rose to #26. On the Billboard Hot 100 āCome to Meā peaked at #15 November 17, 1979.
CeCe was crowned Miss Black Arizona and reigned as Miss Galaxy in 1990. In 1991, CeCe elevated as a true artist when a friend and Phoenix based record producer, Felipe āDJ Wax Dawgā Delgado, asked her to record back-up vocals for a female rapper slated to release an album on A&M Records.
