FEATURING: Tavares, Cece Peniston, France Joli, Fonda Rae, The Ritchie Family, Sharon Brown, Jimmy Bo Horne, Moment Of Truth, Disco Unlimited.

Tavares, may be best known for such up-tempo hits as the million-selling single ā€œHeaven Must Be Missing an Angel,ā€ ā€œMore Than a Woman,ā€ It Only Takes a Minute,ā€ ā€œCheck It Outā€ ā€œRemember What I Told You to Forget,ā€ ā€œToo Late,ā€ and ā€œWhodunit. Tavares also had the first hit version (number one R&B) of ā€œShe’s Goneā€ written by the then relative unknown duo of Daryl Hall and John Oates, Hall & Oates.

France Joli is a Canadian singer, best known for the disco classics ā€œCome to Meā€ and ā€œGonna Get Over You.ā€ The track ā€œCome to Meā€ began a three-week reign atop the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play on 22 September 1979 and the France Joli album rose to #26. On the Billboard Hot 100 ā€œCome to Meā€ peaked at #15 November 17, 1979.

CeCe was crowned Miss Black Arizona and reigned as Miss Galaxy in 1990. In 1991, CeCe elevated as a true artist when a friend and Phoenix based record producer, Felipe ā€œDJ Wax Dawgā€ Delgado, asked her to record back-up vocals for a female rapper slated to release an album on A&M Records. Peniston was successful at scoring five major number one hits within three years. ā€œKeep on Walkingā€, ā€œWe Got a Love Thangā€, ā€œI’m Not Over Youā€, ā€œInside I Criedā€, and her signature dance hit ā€œFinallyā€ was #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and #2 on the UK Top 75 and a favorite of WBLS radio station.
