Minimum proscenium width is 20 feet, maximum is 45 feet.
Proscenium height is 21 feet
Stage depth is approximately 28 feet to the first obstruction.
The stage is an irregular shape. Refer to plan drawing for details.
Hydraulic orchestra pit is 25'-6" either side of center line and has width of 7' to 14' along the front curve.
It lowers to 7'-5" below stage level.
The apron including the orchestra pit is 71' wide x 15' deep at the center line.
Orchestra pit to follow spot booth is 56' at center.
- Flying system is double purchase counter weight.
Working height to the grid is 51'-6".
There are 33 line sets. See batten schedule.
The battens are 73'-8" in length.
The arbors are 12'-0". The capacity is 1,500 pounds per pipe.

- The stage is level straight grained fir, stained dark brown.
The structure for the floor conforms to AEA and AGMA standards.
- A portable black “Lonstage” dance floor can be rolled over the stage. There are five panels each 6' x 60'.
The use of rosin is not allowed on the dance floor.
- There is one dressing room stage right with a toilet that can accommodate three people. There are seven dressing rooms located under the stage. Five have space for three people. Two will hold 20 people each. All dressing rooms are equipped with tables and lighted mirrors. Two toilets with showers are adjacent. There is a small green room.
- The stage door and loading dock are located on Paul Avenue at the rear of the building. The stage is one floor down. An elevator connects all three floors. The capacity is 8,500 pounds. Refer to loading area drawing for dimensions and stage access.
- Lighting and Electrical
Road show power is located upstage right and is 3 phase 400 amps per leg.
There is a 188 dimmer Expression 3 light board in the projection booth at the rear of the orchestra section. Dimmers and non-dims are connected to a patch panel backstage. Dimmers
1 - 184 are rated at 20 Amps (2kw), Dimmers 185 - 188 are rated at 50 Amps (5kw) and are used primarily as Cyc dimmers.
Two Lycian Super-arc 400 follow spots are located center of the front of house catwalk in an enclosed booth.
House lights can be operated from the control room or the stage right console. Dimmers can also be operated at the stage right console and by remote from two other positions within the Concert Hall(including a tech position located house center).
Front of house lighting
There are twenty four 10x12 ellipsoidal spotlights which are individually circuited. In addition there are two - four lamp - washes on both sides of the catwalk; Each of which consists of two 15 degree and two 20 degree ellipsoidal. They cover the full stage.
There are twelve 20 degree ellipsoidal over the orchestra pit that are used for overhead concert lighting. These lamps are not focus-able because of their relationship to the ceiling.
Front of house lighting equipment is considered permanent and is not included in the inventory. A complete inventory will be supplied upon request. All ellipsoidal and fresnel fixtures are lamped at 1kw
Jumper cables are rated for 20 amps and have 2P&G connectors.
All ellipsoidal have template slots and holders except for the 10x12 ellipsoidal in the front of the house.
The holders accept standard 4" x 4.5" patterns. They do not accept circular patterns. The opening in the holder is slightly larger than a circular pattern.
- Sound equipment
A basic public address system is available. An inventory of sound equipment will be supplied upon request. Concert quality audio should be contracted from an outside sound company. A list of acceptable local vendors will be supplied upon request.
A Clear-Com single channel headset system is permanently installed. Stations are located down stage right and left, in the follow spot booth, control room, at the sound position, fly rail, patch panel, and under the center seat in Row L of the auditorium. There are a total of nine headsets and belt packs available.
There is a program monitor to all dressing rooms and offices. A paging microphone for this system is located stage right.
There is a two way intercom in the stage right console with talk back to all dressing rooms as well as the control room, follow spot booth, and patch panel.
The sound mix position is located at the house center end of the handicapped seating area behind the orchestra left center seating area. There are two 12 channel 3 pin XLR sound snakes between this area and stage right.
- Orchestra equipment and sound shell
Acoustical ceiling panels are permanently hung over the stage and fold flat for storage. See batten schedule for location.
There are 15 Wenger acoustical shell walls that can be arranged in a variety of configurations. Each shell piece is 6' wide in approximately 12' high with a 2' outrigger on the rear. Each shell piece is easily moveable with locking casters.
The hydraulic orchestra pit will accommodate approximately 35 to 40 musicians. See page 1 for dimensions. The pit has dimmed controlled floor pockets for music stand lights. There are also three 110 VAC 20 amp circuits in the floor for electric musical instruments. Tunnels left and right connect the pit to the dressing room area.
There are 80 black padded musicians chairs and an additional 12 chairs for cello players.
There are 75 Wenger music stands. 25 music stand lights are available.
There are 6 adjustable bass stool with backs and foot rest and 2 backless adjustable stools.
There are twelve 4' x 8' risers: four each at 0"-8, 1'-4 and 2'-0.
There is one Steinway Model “D” concert grand piano. There is also a baby grand steinway piano. Both are tuned to A-440.
- Stage-hands
Crews will be provided as mutually agreed upon by Lehman Center and the individual attractions using the facilities. It is the policy of Lehman Center that equipment owned by the Center be operated by Center personnel. Any special requirements, such as day to day continuity, must be asked for well in advance for such arrangements to be made.
- Security
Every effort will be made to provide appropriate security. All special requests should be arranged with the Production Office well enough in advance so as not to compromise security elsewhere. Two weeks notice is considered adequate.
- Parking
There is limited parking adjacent to the Concert Hall. Arrangements should be made with the Production Office. The Office of Public Safety requires that they have a list of all vehicles and names of drivers at least 48 hours prior to arrival.
